Here is a piece done for a small workshop demo at the AI of Washington DC. It was a collaborative demo along side couple of friends/co-workers from Firaxis Games (Aaron Yamada Hanff & Piero Macgowan). We each did a piece for the demo and discussed about the work and our individual process. Was a great weekend meeting new artists and getting together with our friends and spending time in the downtown Arlington/DC area.

Hey man, thanks for the comment. This guy looks great. I feel like you are in the beginnings of compiling a series of old men with sweet looking gear, lol. Like the guy who is holding the blackbird. Anyhow, good stuff man.
By the way, do you work with Sang Han? I noticed his stuff in the DWIV and saw he worked at Firaxis. Just curious...
Yeah, his stuff for DW is looking pretty sick so far. I was going to ask him if he knew you, but I figured I'd not and avoid any potentially awkward situations for you at work, hahaha.
Nice dude! Great pose and that is indeed some very sweet gear, i would love to see your roughs for this guy! Great stuff man.
Ill sketch Ken,
gotta say i've always dug your stuff,
but who hasn't/doesn't/wasn't?
Can't wait to see how you evolve from here, man.
Hi Kenji, nice stuff. I'll add your link on my blog.

Cheers~
Glad to have you visiting us man, the demo was awesome.
Great illustration!
Did you like it at AiW? The campus is small, but the teachers know their business and whatnot.
I at least hope Tillman, Gryphon, Broad and Yi are still there. They're great instructors.
